Lockdown Extension Notice 02062021

Dear teachers, students and parents,

Today the Acting Premier James Merlino MP has confirmed that Melbourne’s coronavirus lockdown will be extended for a further seven days until 11:59PM Thursday 10 June. In Melbourne, the five reasons to leave home will remain the same — shopping for food and essential supplies, authorised work or study, care and care-giving, exercise and getting vaccinated.

But from 11:59pm on Thursday, a 5-kilometre radius around the home will be lifted to 10 kilometres. Students in years 11 and 12 will be able to return to face-to-face learning. Masks are still mandatory.

This weekend (5/6 June), the early learning classes would remain closed and Prep and year 1-12 classes would be conducted remotely as we did last weekend. All the teachers, students and parents are expected to support the remote learning and follow relevant remote learning regulations. If parents have any concern or feedback regarding our remote learning contents or arrangements or teachers’ performance, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].

Please keep safe and follow Covid-19 restrictions and let’s get through it together.

See you online this weekend.

Yours sincerely,

Kevin Hu, Principal
