新金山中文学校疫情紧急通知27052021

维州代州长James Merlino MP今天上午宣布,从今晚午夜开始,维州将实行为期7天的三级疫情限制(封城)措施。具体规定如下:

从今晚(5月27日,星期四)晚11:59分起至下星期四(6月3日 )晚11:59分,维州居民必须居家,仅限五个理由外出(必要工作上学、锻炼两小时、寻求医疗服务、接种疫苗、购买生活用品)且限制5公里距离,学校停课,强制戴口罩,禁止访客,餐厅只提供外卖服务,婚丧礼仪限10人,老人院禁外客探视等。

我校严格遵守政府的规定,为保障师生和员工的健康安全,决定我校所有校区本周末(5月29日、30日)早教班停课,学前班、1-12年级各班级统一上网课。

鉴于去年我们在老师、学生和家长们的配合下成功地上好了网课的经验,学校已通知所有老师做好上网课的准备,请家长配合遵守以下网课教学注意事项:

  1. 所有老师认真备课,按时上、下课,并做好学生出勤记录;
  2. 所有学生用自己真实的中英文姓名进入网课;
  3. 老师、学生和家长必须衣着整洁,在一个安静、无特殊政治、宗教背景的工作或学习环境中;
  4. 非本校老师、学生和家长不可参与我校网课;
  5. 网课过程中,考虑到儿童安全及隐私保护,尽量避免让家中其他学龄前儿童进入镜头;
  6. 老师不可和学生进行一对一网络教学,VCE学生因学习的特殊性需要进行口语练习 ,除老师和学生外,还必须同时有一位学生的家长或监护人在场;
  7. 老师、学生和家长不得把网课的过程拍照、录像、录音(VCE12年级如果高考要求需要录像须事先征得家长的同意);
  8. 老师在网课分享屏幕时,电脑上不可出现不适合儿童观看的网页或内容;
  9. 家长配合老师帮助孩子上好网课,不可影响或打断老师的教学;
  10. 家长对网课内容、教学安排和老师表现有任何意见和建议,欢迎书面联系学校:[email protected]

Urgent Notice Regarding Covid-19 New Restrictions

Dear teachers, students and parents,

The Victorian Acting Premier James Merlino MP just announced this morning to have a 7-day lockdown for Victoria from 11.59pm on Thursday May 27 until 11.59pm on Thursday, June 3 in response to the latest outbreak.

Stay at home orders will apply with people permitted only to leave home for the following reasons: shopping for essentials, caregiving, authorised work, exercise (up to two hours), receive a vaccination or with specific exemptions and 5-kimometre rule applies; Schools will move to remote learning. Masks are mandatory indoors and outdoors. No visitors to your home other than an intimate partner. Restaurants are only open for takeaways. Wedding and funerals are limited to 10 persons. No visitors to aged cares.

Based on the new restrictions, we’ve decided to conduct remote learning this weekend (29/30 May) for all campuses for Prep and year 1-12 students (there is no early-learning classes this weekend).

As we have gained rich experience of running remote learning successfully in 2020, we have informed all the teachers to prepare for remote learning. Teachers, students and parents are expected to observe the following regulations regarding remote learning:

  1. Teachers are required to prepare online sessions carefully, start and finish session on time and make an accurate record of students’ attendance;
  2. Students are required to join the online sessions with their real Chinese or English names;
  3. Teachers, students and parents are required to wear neat casual clothes in a quiet, non-political and non-religious working or learning environment in their house during online sessions;
  4. Non-XJS teachers, students and parents are not allowed to get access to the online sessions;
  5. During online sessions, try not have other small children in your home shown on camera for security and privacy purposes;
  6. Teachers are not allowed to have one-to-one online sessions with students except for VCE students who are required to have at least one parent/guardian besides them while having one-to-one online sessions with their teachers;
  7. Teachers, students and parents are not allowed to take photos or record the online sessions in audio or video forms (except for VCE 12 students upon obtaining parent approval);
  8. When sharing screen during the online sessions, teachers are not allowed to show any website or contents that are not suitable for children;
  9. While observing the online sessions, parents are required to keep quiet and try not disturb or interrupt the teaching;
