新金山中文学校校长信箱(18/02/2021)Xin Jin Shan Chinese Language and Culture School Principal’s Message

  1. 在所有年级的学生都回到校园上实体课时,任何人如有任何身体不适,请留在家中或及时就医;
  2. 教职员工和学生如在校园内出现身体不适,学校会立即采取隔离措施,并要求教职员工立即离开校园就医,联系家长接回学生并及时就医;
  3. 家长送孩子进入校园内必须戴口罩。上课期间,家长不可在校园滞留。需要咨询或交费的家长,请到中文学校办公室,之后请及快离开校园;
  4. 十二岁以上学生必须带好口罩,在教室内必须戴口罩,在教室外无法保证1.5米社交距离时必须戴上口罩;
  5. 所有教职员工、学生和家长在校内应注意个人卫生:保持距离、不分享食物、勤洗手。同时,使用非接触式问候方式(不握手或拥抱);

Principal’s Message

Dear teachers, students and parents,

After 5-day stage 4 restriction snap lockdown, Premier Daniel Andrews announced Wednesday that the lockdown will end Wednesday night and we could return to normal life from Thursday 18 February and schools will re-open. We would like to let you know that our Chinese school would return to onsite learning from this weekend.

To ensure we have a safe and healthy learning environment onsite, please be aware:

  1. Students of all year levels would return to onsite learning. If anyone feel unwell, please stay at home or seek medical advices.
  2. Staff and students experiencing compatible symptoms on campus with coronavirus (COVID-19), such as fever, cough or sore throat, would be isolated in an appropriate space with suitable supervision and students should be collected by a parent or carer as soon as possible.
  3. Parents must wear masks when entering the campus. Parents are expected to leave the campus as soon as possible after dropping off and picking up. Parents are not expected to stay onsite during class time.
  4. Students over 12 years old are required to wear masks in the classrooms and outside when 1.5 metres physical distancing cannot be maintained.
  5. All staff, students and visitors to school should undertake regular hand hygiene. Sharing of food is not recommended. Always wash your hands before taking food. Use non-contact greetings (not shaking hands, hugging or kissing).
  6. Doors would be kept open if feasible to keep air circulating.

I would like to present our sincere appreciation to all our staff, parents and students for following the Covid-19 restrictions of Victoria. Keep ourselves and our family members safe is the best way to keep our community safe. Thank you very much for your great support.

Let’s see you again on campus this weekend.

Yours sincerely,

Kevin Hu, Principal
