(12/02/2021)Xin Jin Shan Chinese Language and Culture School Principal’s Message

  • 在维州目前疫情依然紧张的情况之下,请大家务必遵守政府颁布的疫情管制举措,尤其是带孩子进入校区时必须戴上口罩;
  • 家长把孩子送入教室后请离开校园,不可在校园滞留,更不可聚在一起聊天。咨询和交费请到学校办公室;

Principal’s Message

Dear teachers, students and parents,

We are glad to let you know that the first two weeks of Term 1 went smoothly. Although the traffic around the campus was a bit busy, the situation improved in week 2. I would like to thank all the parents for setting a good example for all the students. I would also like to appreciate our teachers who have not only accomplished their teaching tasks as expected but also taken the role of yard duty making sure all the students on campus are safe and sound. I’m pleased to know that the students’ attendance rate has reached 100% in the first two weeks. Thank you all for the great efforts contributed to our Chinese language education.

There are a few things I would like to remind you:

  1. Parents must wear face masks when entering campus under the current Covid-19 restrictions.
  2. Parents are expected to leave the campus as soon as possible after dropping off and picking up. Parents are not expected to stay onsite during class time. If you have any enquiry or would like to pay tuition fees, please visit the Chinese office onsite.
  3. Please arrive at the campus a bit earlier than usual to avoid peak time. There are parking spots with no time limit 50 or 100 metres away from the campus. Please do not park or block on the driveway of residents to avoid unnecessary parking fines.

Today is the first day of Chinese lunar new year. The Spring Festival is the most important traditional Chinese holiday that has been celebrating for over 4000 years with its cultural spirit been appreciated by generation after generation. It is the opportunity for family members to get together and reconnect with each other. No matter where we are, we would celebrate Chinese New Year and make good wishes to families and friends.

This year is the year of OX which in Chinese culture is a hardworking zodiac sign. I wish you and your family good luck, prosperity, good health and happiness in the year of ox.

Yours sincerely,

Kevin Hu, Principal
